A tribute to Serena Morten

One of the CPSU's Safeguarding Stars, Serena Morten, has died. Serena was Volleyball England's safeguarding lead officer, and worked closely with many of us at the CPSU.

She was a key part of the volleyball community, and dedicated so much of her time to helping others within the sport, she will be greatly missed.

Serena received recognition for her contribution to safeguarding and going the extra mile as one of our Safeguarding Stars in 2016.

She received a certificate in recognition of her work and attended our national conference, where she was presented with her award by Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson.

All of us here at the CPSU want to extend our deepest sympathies to Serena's family and friends at Volleyball England at this difficult time.
