You can now listen to safeguarding in sport guidance online

Last updated: 05 Oct 2018 Topics: Safeguarding children Type: News article

We've launched a brand new way to communicate safeguarding guidance and best practice to you through podcasts.

In our first 2 episodes, released as part of Parents in Sport Week 2018, we chat with sports parents about their contribution to their child's sport.

We also discuss the different support needs of children of different ages and abilities and the types of things parents are looking for from clubs in terms of information and support.

If you're not familiar with podcasts, they're essentially short, recorded radio shows. They consist of discussions around a particular topic, featuring expert individuals or organisations.

The great thing about this new format is that you can listen any time, anywhere. Whether it's on the train or during your morning jog, you can clue yourself up on a range of sport safeguarding topics on the go.

You can listen to both episodes on our new podcast channel on Castbox FM.

If you're already signed-up to Castbox, don't forget to subscribe to our channel and leave us a comment letting us know what you think of this new format.
