Listen to our podcasts on DBS checks in sport

Last updated: 08 Feb 2019 Topics: Safeguarding children Type: News article

In October 2018 we launched a brand new way to communicate safeguarding guidance through podcasts and we've just added two more episodes.

In these two new episodes, we interview the Disclosure and Barring Service about carrying out DBS checks in sport and about some of the more specific sport scenarios that can complicate the eligibility of certain sports roles.

If you're not familiar with podcasts, they're essentially short, recorded radio shows. They consist of discussions around a particular topic, featuring expert individuals or organisations.

The great thing about this new format is that you can listen any time, anywhere. Whether it's on the train or during your morning jog, you can clue yourself up on a range of sport safeguarding topics on the go.

You can listen to both episodes on our new podcast channel on Castbox FM.

If you're already signed-up to Castbox, don't forget to subscribe to our channel and leave us a comment letting us know what you think of this new format.
