Although the importance of promoting positive parental behaviours in youth sport is widely acknowledged, there has been a lack of research in this area which has focused on listening to children’s voices.

In order to address this gap, Brunel University has interviewed a group of young athletes about their perceptions on promoting positive parental behaviour in sport. The findings are represented through the executive summary.
