Whether your child loves karate, boxing, or judo, we know that combat sports and martial arts offer incredible benefits for children — confidence, discipline, resilience, fitness and fun. But like all youth sport, they must be safe, well‑managed and child‑centred.
We want to understand what it is you need to help keep your child safe.
By taking part in this 5 minute, anonymous survey, you’ll be helping us:
- identify what support parents really need
- understand where safeguarding in martial arts and combat sports is working well
- spot gaps or concerns that may need attention
- make martial arts and combat sport environments safer, stronger and more inclusive for every young person
Your insights will guide national safeguarding work across martial arts and combat sports — meaning real change, built on real experiences from parents like you.
This survey is for all parents and carers, whether your child is 5 or 15, brand new to the sport or an international competitor.
Thank you for playing your part in keeping children safe.
