The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) have developed two leaflets to help sports organisations understand the eligibility of a range of roles across the sector.
Each leaflet, DBS checks in sport – working with children and DBS checks in sport – working with adults, covers the criteria and decision making process behind the eligibility of generic roles, for each of the relevant age groups in England and Wales. They should also compliment and support NGBs' own guidance for clubs.
