Professor Camilla Knight has dedicated the last 20 years of her research and study time to understanding more about why parents matter in their child's sporting journey and their experiences. 

Hear from Camilla as she talks through hints and tips for sport organisations to support parents to play their part and help their child have the most positive experiences. 

About Professor Camilla Knight: Alongside her research, as a registered Sport Psychologist and Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist, Camilla has worked closely with national and international sporting organisations, including Sport Wales, Sport New Zealand, the Rugby Football Union, and Swim Wales, guiding their work regarding parental involvement and youth sport. She also works with young people, parents and coaches to enhance their experiences and development within youth sport. She is now the Director of Impact, Innovation and Engagement at sport for development charity, Greenhouse Sports.
