An example, from Basketball England, of a safeguarding risk assessment procedure that can be used for members under investigation.

Purpose of the Safeguarding Risk Assessment Procedure

This can be used to assess the risk of a player or member who is subject to a police investigation.

Risk assessment can also be used to assess the suitability of an applicant in any role in light of data received regarding criminal or safeguarding matters or information received through their DBS disclosure.

This example procedure was provided to CPSU by Basketball England in June 2021.
