A safeguarding checklist to support the leisure and facilities industry to meet their safeguarding responsibilities for both children and adults.
This checklist has been jointly developed by the CPSU and the Ann Craft Trust (ACT) and in partnership with Community Leisure UK, the members’ association that specialises in charitable trusts delivering public leisure and culture services across the UK.
The tool is broken down into 5 areas:
- policies, procedures and guidance
- organisational ownership of safeguarding
- responding to and managing safeguarding
- training and learning
- communicating messages and information
