We’ve recently launched our LinkedIn showcase page and we would love for you to come and join the 400 people that have already followed us.
Our LinkedIn channel will promote best practice, raise awareness and drive positive change in safeguarding in sport and activities. By following us you will be the first to find out about any webinars we will be running, any new podcasts we record and any new resources or guidance we develop.
Here Hannah Mansell, Website Content Manager, tells us a bit more about our LinkedIn launch and how we will be using the platform to connect with our audience.
In case you missed our launch
In our first LinkedIn post on 8 April, Michelle North, Service Head of CPSU, shared some insight into our work, which included:
- who we are
- what we do
- our mission to safeguard children and young people in sport and activities
- how we collaborate and support the sporting community
A LinkedIn presence gives us the opportunity to reach more people working with children in sport and activity. We want to be able to share our resources and inform, educate and inspire the sport and activity sector to create a safe and fun culture for all children and young people taking part in sport and activity.
What can followers expect to see?
We aim to engage our audience by sharing:
- new and existing resources from our unit and the wider safeguarding and sports sectors
- events and training for the sports sector
- relevant reports and research from government and other organisations
- inspiring real-life stories from young people, coaches and safeguarding professionals
How can people follow?
We’re excited about this new chapter for the CPSU and look forward to building a community to share our safeguarding information and advice. Please visit our page, give us a follow us and share with all your connections.
