In this webinar, Ineke Houtenbos, Senior Consultant for the NSPCC, talks to us about the experiences of Black, Asian and Ethnic Minoritised athletes and the issue of racism in sport.
Ineke looks at terminology, the different types of discrimination that can take place against Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minoritised individuals and the steps sports clubs and organisations can take to be inclusive and prevent racism in their setting.
This webinar was recorded in May 2021.
Note: The term BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) is used throughout this webinar. We understand that terminology changes and we continue to learn from others with expertise in this area of work. We will update any terminology as necessary.
