Parents play a vital role in youth sport. Parents in most cases introduce their child or children to sport, transport children to training and competitions, fund equipment and kits, and provide emotional support.
Coaches have a key part in enhancing parental involvement. This guidance (PDF) aims to help coaches understand, support, and educate parents, helping to improve overall parental involvement and allowing children to have more enjoyable sporting experiences.
